For Pops Punch, a commercial for a family-owned beverage brand, director Shaz Lym enlisted me to handle character design and animation. The brand centers around a recipe passed down through generations, from the founder's grandfather to his father, and now to him. My task was to create characters who felt at home in both the 1970s, when the recipe was first shared, and the 2000s, a time of reinvention. Each character embodies the unique style of their era, celebrating the brand’s legacy with a sense of nostalgia and modern flair. This project allowed me to blend vintage aesthetics with contemporary animation, bringing the story of Pops Punch to life across generations.
